Act Out The Internet

A responsive identity for an art & design exhibition focused on the world wide web, that grows and changes whenever the event is mentioned on social media. Using information from social media APIs, a program is run that draws a square every time the event is mentioned online, with the size of the squares determined by the number of followers/friends the post is reaching.

At the end of each day the pattern is saved and blended to form the logo for the next period, applied to all web and print based material created, or active, at that time. This creates a responsive logo that becomes larger and more complex as the exhibition approaches, due to more people talking about it online.
